Can't Delete from BlackBerry AppWorld

If you deleted DUB through AppWorld, depending upon the version of App World you are running you may find an "archived" copy of the app still listed in your AppWorld applications or on your phone. Furthermore, depending upon the version of AppWorld you are using you may be unable to delete the application or the archive of it.

To remove an Archived application from AppWorld:

  1. Open AppWorld
  2. Click "My World"
  3. Scroll down to highlight the application you want to remove
  4. Click the Blackberry Menu key and select "Delete"
  5. Reboot when you are prompted to do so (the deletion will not take place without rebooting)

If you go back into My World and DUB is there, don't worry! As long as it says "uninstalled", the app is deleted.   App World just keeps a list of past downloaded apps in that list.

If you do not see a "Delete" option, please make sure that you have the most updated version of AppWorld.  You can download it by finding AppWorld in the top free AppWorld downloads or by going to www.blackberry.com/appworld/download on your phone's web browser.

If this still does not resolve the issue you may wish to reach out to Blackberry AppWorld support at: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/blackberryappworld.jsp for further options.
