My BlackBerry says there is no internet connection when I know there is!

Why is this happening?

Blackberry devices actually use 4 different communication protocols to send and receive data. Unlike requesting a web page or sending an email which are bursts of data, DUB requires a stable connection to the server which is sometimes difficult to establish, depending on the device or location.

How do I fix it?

  1. Leave the DUB app

  2. Go to the Blackberry main/home screen

  3. Find and click on the "Manage Connections" icon

  4. Turn off your Cellular signal

  5. Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

Once you return to DUB, the issue should have resolved itself. There is a known issue with Blackberry's "Connection Manager" which causes certain data support to randomly stop working.  A refresh like this typically gets things going again.
