When you open up DUB to the Create Card screen and fill in your name and email, DUB is making an account for you. DUB pulls your phone number directly from your phone (so you don't have to type it in!) and then sends all that information to our server to create your account.
If you just downloaded DUB onto your phone and nothing seems to happen when you click the Create button, you can usually correct the problem by just setting your permissions correctly and then trying again.
To correct your permissions settings, please follow these steps:
If you are getting an actual error message when you click the Create button on your phone, it is probably because:
Currently, DUB is not supported on phones outside of the US and Canada, so you will get an error saying that the number is in an invalid format. What happened was that DUB pulled your number from your phone but then saw that it didn't have the number of digits it was expecting.
Please see our FAQ at http://support.dubmenow.com/forums/65460/entries/55753 to see how to be notified when DUB is available internationally.
If you have created a card either online or on your phone in the past, DUB will not allow you to create a new account with the same phone number.
In this case, you can just click Already Have A Card (below or next to the Create button) and enter the email you used when you signed up for DUB and your password. If you don't yet have a password, please see this FAQ: http://support.dubmenow.com/forums/65460/entries/63298
If this does not fix your issue, you can click the link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen to contact our Support Team. They will be happy to help you!
