Introduction

The term "social profile" encompasses a number of online personal resources, including Facebook, Myspace, your personal blog, your website, Skype, or online messaging services such as AIM.  If you wish, you can attach this information to your DUB card.

The type of information that goes into the empty fields when you edit your card depends on the type of social profile you are providing.

  • For a social profile that is a website, you will have to fill in your personal section of the URL for that site.  DUB starts the URL for you on the Edit screen in the app.  Examples of this type would be Facebook, Myspace, de.li.cious, a personal blog, or a website.
  • For a messaging service, put your screen name or handle for that service.  Examples of this type would be Yahoo Messenger, AIM, and Twitter.
  • You do not need to provide any login or password information for any social profile fields.

Step-by-Step:

To edit any social profile field, you should be on your mobile device.  You cannot currently add or edit these fields from the DUB website but this feature will be included in the next version of DUB.

  1. Open DUB on your mobile device
  2. Select the blue MY CARD button at the bottom of the screen
  3. Select "Edit"
  4. Click on SOCIAL PROFILES or INSTANT MESSENGERS
  5. Scroll down to the field you would like to add and complete the URL or put in your screen name/username
  6. When you've added or edited your social profile field, be sure to click DONE, and on the next screen, SAVE.
