Viewing Your Contacts

Introduction:

So you have either sent your card to someone, or accepted someone else's card....now what?  Now you can check out the CONTACTS area of DUB!

CONTACTS is where DUB displays all the people you are connected to on DUB, their up to date contact information, and some extra information you won't find in your phone's address book like instant messenger screen names, information on the location where you met / exchanged cards, a private note field you can fill in, their social networks, and more!

Step-by-Step:

To see your DUB contacts' information follow these steps:

  1. Click the CONTACTS button in the main navigation bar just to make sure you are on the right screen
  2. DUB displays the names (in alphabetical order by last name) of all the people you have connected with via DUB
  3. Click the name of any person in your DUB Contacts list
  4. DUB displays the full "Card" of information for this person including any Instant Messenger or Social Networks they may have
If you have a lot of DUB contacts and you would like to search for a particular person, you can search by typing their first name, last name, or organization into the field with the magnifying glass at the top of the Contacts screen.  More detail about that: What are the different ways I can search for my DUB Contacts?

Note: The CONTACTS screen does NOT show all the contacts in your phone's address book, only those that you have connected with on DUB.  DUB does not replace your phone's native address book, but rather enhances it by automatically keeping it updated with all your DUB contacts' most recent information.

Also, the "Private Note" field is your place to store a note about that contact that only you can see. The other person cannot see what you enter in this area.
