Introduction:

So you know how to send your card, but what about when you receive a card from another DUB user? To help protect your privacy DUB gives you the ability to either accept or ignore the cards you receive from other DUB users.

Accepting a card means that you would like to not only have their contact information automatically inserted into your phone's address book and kept up to date over time, and also that you are giving them your card in return.

Ignoring a card means that you have received their contact information via Email or text message from DUB and not only do you not want it automatically embedded into your phone's address book, you also choose to not send your card in exchange for theirs.

Step-by-Step:

To accept or ignore your received card, whether you're on your mobile device or online, see the steps below.

  1. Click the RECEIVED button in the main navigation bar just to make sure you are on the right screen
  2. Locate the line that matches the card you just received and click on that person
  3. DUB will show you a screen containing some of the person's information along with an ACCEPT and an IGNORE button
  4. Click either ACCEPT or IGNORE
  5. You are now redirected back to the RECEIVED screen, where you will find that record has been removed from that list.  If you accepted the card, the contact will now appear in your DUB Contacts list as well as your phone's address book and your information will be in theirs. If you ignored the card, the contact will not appear in your DUB Contacts nor in your phone's address book.
