As long as you are signed in and have DUB running on your phone, your DUB Contacts display is designed to always stay up to date and show you the latest information on all your contacts. Sometimes however there may be a situation, such as leaving your phone turned off or signing out of DUB for an extended period of time where you want to force DUB to refresh this list. You can do this in two ways.
Forced Refresh - Asks server to send all the latest updates
1. Navigate to DUB Contacts
2. Locate and click the spinning arrows icon in the upper left corner of the screen
3. DUB will query the server and ask for anything that has changed since the last time DUB got the latest updates
Forced Rebuild - Causes DUB to completely rebuild its data store and re-request all information on all your DUB contacts from the server
1. Navigate to DUB Contacts
2. Click the Blackberry Menu key
3. Click "Setup Contacts"
4. If your address book and number of DUB Contacts is very small DUB will immediately rebuild. However, if you have a lot of DUB Contacts or a large address book, you will be given the option to schedule this job to run now or later. Please keep in mind this can be a long process that varies greatly depending upon the speed of your cellular network, the processing speed of your phone, and the number of contacts you have. If time is critical, we recommend scheduling the task for the evening or at a time when you typically are not heavily using your Blackberry.
