The "uncaught exception, permission denied" (and many variations thereof) error you are getting typically arises when a required blackberry service has either been blocked by the user or blocked by a corporate / enterprise level setting on your device (if your device is attached to a Corporate Blackberry server for example). Please note that if you are connected to a corporate BlackBerry server, these steps may not work because they could be overridden by the server.
To attempt to resolve this:
1) Navigate to the main blackberry menu
2) Go to Options
3) Go to Advanced Options
4) Go to Applications(Applications will be in Options, not Advanced Options, for BlackBerry OS 5.0.0)
5) Scroll down and put the cursor over DUB
6) Click the Blackberry Menu key (the key to the left of the trackball)
7) Click "Edit Permissions"
8) For "Connections" click the Blackberry Menu key and press "Change Option"
9) Click "Allow"
10) Repeat Steps 8 and 9 for "Interactions" and "User Data"
11)Click the BlackBerry Menu key and click "Save"
From there, reopen DUB and the issue should be resolved.
If this does not fix your issue, you can click the link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen to contact our Support Team. They will be happy to help you!
